Mouse Homolog
The mouse homolog of janus kinase 3 (present on mouse chromosome 8) when present as a homozygous null cause the animal to have: severe B cell development block, small thymi, failure of T-cell proliferation. Autoimmune inflammatory bowel disease results from a homozygous point mutation. [1]
